Note: Key plot points for the third episode of this adventure lie ahead.
The Warrior Group Unveiled
The latest chapter finished on a dramatic pause and presented the first table of characters who will branch out from the main group to begin their independent quest, apart from the remaining groups.
The Soldiers table includes Teor Pridesire (portrayed by Travis Willingham), Thimble (Laura), the fierce warrior (the cast member), the cleric (Sam Riegel), and Kattigan (Robbie Daymond).
Dividing the Cast
Given 13 cast members, it was evident from the start that keeping everyone at the same party would be impossible.
Hence, the initial installments of the new season serve as an Introduction, intertwining the personal journeys before dividing into three separate parties: Soldiers, Planners, and Questers.
What Defines the Combat Party
According to the Dungeon Master, the Soldiers table is for participants who prefer a classically intense battle-oriented narrative style where diplomatic options are rare.
At first glance, characters like the hesitant healer the cleric might seem out of place, but the events of the third episode make it clear why these five characters are best suited for the Soldiers table.
Motivations for Departure
To begin with, the team knows exactly where to go next after a intense first encounter with the enemy group.
A former ally of Thjazi—whose demise initiated the story’s plot—exploited the foes for his personal gain, entering Thjazi’s hideout, attacking the character, and taking all the enchanted items to sell off.
The antagonist then cleared his debts and escaped to a Halovar stronghouse in Gormalay, Timmony, above the city, with Teor’s brother close behind.

- The strong character and Wicander, having disobeyed his relatives’ demands to kill Teor and instead saved him, have nowhere else to go.
- But, their status as key figures in the influential clan could assist the team reach areas they usually can’t.
- Additionally, Teor swore a unbreakable promise to The cleric for his salvation and will now accompany him wherever.
Wanted and Hunted
In addition, all of them are hunted by the powers that rule Dol-Makjar for a multiple motives, making lingering locally no longer safe:
- Thimble and The character are recognized lawbreakers.

This results in them no alternative but to travel to Timmony in pursuit of the traitor.
